Why A Good Fan Matters
Comfortable Homes All Year Round
A quality ceiling fan can make a massive difference to the comfort of your home while also helping reduce how much you rely on your air conditioner during summer.
Modern ceiling fans are quieter, more energy efficient and look far better than older style fans. Whether you're installing fans throughout the whole house or just replacing an old noisy fan, we can help you choose an option that suits your space and style.
We install ceiling fans in existing homes, new builds, outdoor areas and renovations, including installations where new wiring and switching is required.

Why We Love Ceiling Fans
One Of The Best Upgrades For A Bedroom
Honestly, once you have a good ceiling fan in the bedroom, it's hard to go back.
A quiet DC ceiling fan running overnight with the timer set is one of the best things during summer. They use very little power, run silently and help keep air moving through the room without needing the air conditioner running all night.
We run ceiling fans in our own house every night and most clients say the same thing after installing them. They wish they had done it earlier.

FAQs
Ceiling Fan Installation Questions
The cost of ceiling fan installation can vary depending on the property and the type of installation being completed. Things like roof access, ceiling height, whether there is existing wiring already in place, the switchboard setup and whether the property is single or double storey can all affect pricing. Because every property is different, we prefer to quote on site so we can assess the installation properly and provide an accurate fixed price based on your exact setup. That way you're only paying for the work your property actually requires.
No. In Australia, electrical work such as installing or replacing a ceiling fan must legally be completed by a licensed electrician. In Victoria, electrical work also requires a Certificate of Electrical Safety to be issued as a record that the work has been completed correctly and complies with current regulations. Even apprentice electricians cannot legally complete this type of work on their own without supervision and sign off from a licensed electrical contractor. Using a licensed electrician helps ensure the installation is safe, compliant and covered correctly for insurance purposes.

Traditionally, AC ceiling fans are the older style fans that use a wall mounted speed controller. DC ceiling fans are now the most common option we install, making up around 95% of our fan installations. DC fans use less power, run much quieter and include remote control operation with features like timer settings, multiple speed options and summer or winter modes. Most DC fans still use the wall switch as an on and off switch, while the remote is used to control fan speed and additional features. If the fan includes a light, the remote can normally control the light as well. If you prefer wall controls, there are also wall controller options available for certain DC fan models. Overall, DC fans are quieter, more energy efficient and the better option for most homes.
Yes, we can. If there isn't already an existing light or ceiling fan in the location, we can run new wiring, install switching and set everything up for a new ceiling fan installation. Part of the installation also involves installing a timber support in the roof space so the fan is securely supported from the structure of the building and can safely handle the weight of the fan. This allows us to install a ceiling fan in new locations throughout the home where there wasn't previously anything installed.
No. Modern ceiling fans are generally very quiet, especially DC ceiling fans. Different brands and models can vary slightly, however DC fans are usually the quietest option and are ideal for bedrooms and living areas where low noise is important. Most of the ceiling fans we install are DC fans because they run quietly, use less power and provide smoother operation overall.
Outdoor ceiling fans need to be specifically designed and rated for outdoor installation. This comes down to the IP rating and whether the fan is suitable for exposed or covered outdoor areas. Most outdoor fans will be clearly labelled by the manufacturer as suitable for outdoor use. We can help recommend the right type of fan depending on whether it's being installed in an alfresco, veranda or other outdoor space.
