Data Points & Internet in Bacchus Marsh, Melton and Surrounding Areas
Slow WiFi, internet dropouts and dead spots around the house are some of the most common things we help homeowners with. Whether you need a hardwired data point for a TV, gaming setup or home office, better WiFi coverage around the house, help with your NBN setup or internet cabling run to another room, we can get it sorted properly with neat concealed cabling and reliable connections that actually work.

Why Wired Still Wins
Good Internet Starts With The Right Setup
A lot of internet issues around the house actually come down to poor router placement, weak WiFi coverage or devices that should really be hardwired instead of relying on wireless internet.
One of the most common things we install is dedicated data points for gaming consoles, TVs, home offices and computers so they have a direct hardwired internet connection instead of relying on WiFi from the other side of the house.
We also install WiFi access points to improve coverage in larger homes, relocate NBN equipment to better locations and run internet connections out to garages, sheds and other areas around the property.
A lot of the time, a few small changes to the setup can completely change how reliable the internet feels throughout the home.
What We Install
Internet Upgrades That Actually Make A Difference
Most internet problems around the house can normally be fixed with a few smart upgrades in the right locations.
Data Points For TVs & Gaming
One of the most common installs we do is hardwired internet points for TVs, gaming consoles and streaming devices. A direct internet connection is faster, more reliable and helps avoid buffering, lag and WiFi dropouts.
Home Office Internet Setups
Working from home becomes a lot easier with a proper hardwired internet connection at your desk instead of relying on weak WiFi. We can install dedicated data points for computers, monitors, printers and home office setups.
WiFi Access Points
If parts of the house have weak WiFi or dead spots, we can install WiFi access points to improve internet coverage throughout the home. This is especially common in larger homes, double storey homes and properties with sheds or outdoor entertaining areas.
NBN & Router Relocations
We can relocate NBN equipment and internet routers to better locations around the house for improved WiFi coverage and cleaner setups. A lot of older homes have the NBN box installed in awkward spots like bedrooms or cupboards where the WiFi signal struggles to reach properly.
Modern Homes
The Average House Uses More Internet Than Ever
Between smart TVs, gaming consoles, work from home setups, streaming services, security cameras and smart home devices, modern homes rely on strong and reliable internet more than ever before.
A lot of the time, the standard WiFi router sitting in one corner of the house simply isn't enough to properly cover the entire property.
Adding hardwired data points, relocating routers or installing WiFi access points can make a huge difference to internet reliability, speed and coverage throughout the home without constantly relying on boosters and temporary fixes.

FAQs
Data Points & Internet Questions
It completely depends on your situation. If your WiFi coverage is already good and you're not having issues with speed or reliability, then no, you probably don't need Ethernet. Most people who install hardwired internet points are gamers wanting the best connection possible, people working from home who rely heavily on internet, or homeowners wanting a stronger connection for TVs and streaming devices located far away from the router.
Cat5e is generally rated up to 1 gigabit per second, while Cat6 is capable of handling much faster speeds up to 10 gigabits per second over shorter distances. We install Cat6 as standard for all of our data point installs.
Yes, definitely. WiFi access points are a great option for larger homes, double storey homes or properties where certain areas struggle with weak WiFi coverage. Instead of relying on one router to try and cover the entire house, access points help spread strong WiFi coverage throughout the property.
Yes. Around 99% of our work is in existing homes, so retrofitting cables is very common for us. Single storey homes with roof access are generally very straightforward. Double storey homes can sometimes be a little more complicated, but we can almost always make it happen.
Yes, we do. We also have a dedicated page for CCTV and security camera installations if you'd like to read more about those services.
We are licensed to relocate NBN fibre equipment and NBN connection boxes. A lot of homes have the NBN equipment installed in awkward locations like bedrooms, cupboards or areas that aren't ideal for WiFi coverage. We can relocate the equipment to a more suitable location and improve the overall setup of your home internet. A lot of electricians can't complete this type of work, but we are licensed and qualified to do it properly.
